Been back since Wednesday morning
Now on full detox cabbage soup the lot
I need to loose all this fluid if stored over the last two weeks
Doing well lost 8lb of fluid need to keep going untill Tuesday
Then when I eat some thing substantial hope I don’t put too much weight on
I’ll stick to sensible eating

Got back yesterday from 2 weeks in Spain. Self catering so only put 1lb on, can easily gain a stone when all inclusive.

Countdown starts to the next one, 14 weeks on Sunday :1980_boogie_down:
10lb off now
Just fluid though

How’s the holiday going
Fantastic @Vincemac . Weather not so good today cloudy and the sea was very choppy. Hotel is excellent, staff incredible, food brilliant and the drinks are top notch. Stalis is reasonably busy but not packed (time of the year).

Only one issue is that the hotel residents are mainly fat decrepit Germans <laugh>

Just back from 2 weeks in Mexico. First day on the beach with my SAFC shorts on, hear a shout, “how mackem”. Turns out it was Mansfield Mackem from over the road, who was going home the following day. He did say he had been trying to get hold of Reiver, @Smug in Boots, so I tried pointing him in this direction
Anyhow, it was great, we had plenty of rain usually in the evening though but when it was hot, it was hot and humid. Nothing dried either. The people were great and have some great memories, the beach I didn’t think was great, but on an adventure day, we swam in a lagoon, paddle boarded then swam with the turtles in the Caribbean Sea
That’s ticked off my list now, no need to go back

However the beach across the road is good if you do eat out Greek grill is good just on the beach road to the right a 50 mtrs walk
There is also the dionameas on the beach road to the right about 600 mtrs through past the ting ting man another 20 mtrs thought the front and onto the beach resteraunt
That’s if you can be bothered to trail along there
Enjoy the rest of your holidays

Superb, Mexico is on the wife's list to go to. I've seen that it can lash down with rain very heavily then clear quickly.

Thanks again. We had a good walk down the strip the other night. Trying to find the hotel we stayed in 20 years ago. Couldn't find it but i will go looking tomorrow when the Missus is having her Spa treatment (her birthday tomorrow so I'm treating her ).

We planned on going to Amici Italian but might have a look at Greek Grill. I've seen it so thanks again for the recommendations, it's appreciated.

We sat in a pub on 5th Avenue, Playa Del Carmen. I say a pub it was a gap between 2 houses, with trees through it and netting to stop **** falling in your drinks. The waiter asked us if we wanted to move tables as it started to rain. We said no, it’s just spitting, within seconds we were dashing for cover and the floor was at least an inch deep by the time we left, 5 minutes later
