Tchouameni was only ever going to Real, his preferred option. Dortmund were adamant that Bellingham wasn't going anywhere this summer for any amount. Don't know the story with Valverde.
who knows. I highly doubt we would have gotten away with a Bid on bellingham without it being leaked by dortmund to stoke the competition.
I also kind of highly doubt that given our "rejected bid" for bellingham we then went to real madrid and bid exactly the same for a player who would be regarded as untouchable in thier set up. to the point real were letting the fat old man go to man utd.
we all knew we were looking at touchy and that lad was "phoned" by klopp accoridng to the press talk at the time so that all lends credence to the whole rumour which is prob why its in there. it does align also with hwat real piad (€80million) so it might be hinting we matched real madrid.
I reckon this is more idle speculation linked to a former strong rumour to make clicks.
