Bristol City v Luton – Prediction Time https://luton.vitalfootball.co.uk/bristol-city-v-luton-prediction-time/ They think they will beat us 3-1, I have predicted a 2-1 home win but I am an optimist...
Even though this is only our 4th league game of the season, I think it's one we need to win pretty badly. Luton have also made an indifferent start so come on City !!
no disrespect to luton but this is the type of game we have to win; if we are not going to spend another season at the arse end of the table,
2-1 to Luton. Weimann scoring for us in the first 30 mins with Luton equalising just around half-time. Then...... 'Agent' Naismith scores them an Own Goal winner in the 95th minute after we've spent the second half sitting deep and inviting Luton on Straight out of the Pearson tactical notebook
IMO if we lose this game, I believe the pressure will be mounting for NP...especially if it goes the predictable route....It will show he's running out of ideas with no plan B in his locker,,
One plus of that plan is RR First half, where are all you boo boys Nige is taking us up. Second half. We are doomed, these players are useless.
The team news - two changes Nigel Pearson's made two changes to the side that drew to Wigan with Chris Martin and Joe Williams coming out and Nahki Wells and Han-Noah Massengo coming in. No Kalas in the squad again while Cam Pring also sits out.
No idea; it could just be squad rotation or a minor niggle. HNM wasn't in the matchday squad on Sat, but starts tonight. Is Matty James also injured? Big chance for Wells to stake a claim here tonight. His link-up play has been good when he's been given decent game time. He needs to be a bit more selfish at times, which I know Ironically is something he has been criticized for previously, but he's almost gone too far the other way, passing when the shot is on.
The changes So a chance for Nahki Wells to stake his claim in attack alongside Conway, although that midfield looks a little lightweight without the presence of Williams or Matty James. Surprised that Cam Pring has been left out of the squad but positive news to see Rob Atkinson fit and starting. They'll need him with the defence going up against the brutes of Adebayo and Woodrow in attack. (Bristol Post)
Massengo just made me believe in him with a fabulous play to get us a goal. Come on City keep up this style because it suits you and the crowd love it.
