Agreed. Starting XI plus a couple of others are absolutely up to the job. Rest of the squad looks light. Need a wide player, wide striker, at least 1 CM and a left back IMHO

I think Broadhead would still be a quality addition. Stewart, Simms and Broadhead is a ****ing WORLD away from Wyke, Grigg and O'brien as striking options at the club
He’s got a lot of quality but is he reliable? Is he even fit now? Hasn’t kicked a ball in a game all pre-season.
Everton didn’t start with a striker yesterday. He’s probably injured…He has not played at all pre-season!!

A bit of creative accounting and raising money by selling off their TV rights (Spanish clubs negotiate separate deals, rather than the league negotiating the rights) and by selling off a share in their merchandise licensing.

Think I've logged onto the wrong forum. Now we don't like or want Broadhead because:
- He's money orientated (not sure why we'd expect him to take a massive pay cut / miss out on a bonus he's entitled to / or whether there's anything to suggest its money holding it up)
- He's unproven at this level (neither is Simms, Stewart...)
- He's unfit (sack our medical staff if they're sanctioning signing a crock)
Everton, it seems have something of a Striker problem themselves, at the moment.
We might have a problem hanging on to the one we have on loan from them.
Broadhead will sign.
