We move on if he doesn't want to be here or he is too expensive the gamble is not worth it (and I would have had him if the deal was right even with his injury issues)
Peculiar that, to say the least. They've had a very long time to do this. He doesn't feature for them, and they are signing other players. Must be thinking they can loan him out and then sell him later.
Loan makes more sense than permanent imo. He has injury struggles despite his talent and ability, it seems Everton are committed to getting a good fee for him and allegedly hes on decent wages. This way we get another season out of the lad without splashing out a fee and wages for a lad who will miss games.
Maybe. But he has to prove his fitness, then impress in the championship. It's not easy and it's no place for a fragile body.
Sending him out on loan to us wouldn’t make much sense to Everton, given they’ve done that to Simms. They’d want both playing regularly.
I’d rather loan him tbh, his injury record isn’t the greatest and he may not be suited to championship or above. loan best for all parties
They’ve given broadhead a new deal to cover themselves imo. He can go for a minimal fee next summer when his contract runs out or they can try to get more money for him by offering a contract.
What a waste of time, should be looking to loan better players than him IMO. Understand buying him because he’s within our budget but a loan for a player who’s worth pittance is daft.
We must be very close to switching to other targets by now. We may have our loan slots allocated to other potential targets so a loan wouldnt suit us?
Starting to think it's time to move to other targets. There is obviously issues in both sides and it's dragging on. If he really wanted to be here he would be here by now, look at Clarke as an example....
Agree. Given how savvy we've been in the market recently,I'd be amazed if we were still hanging on to NB as our only option.
