I like that we even had the ambition to try for a player like that, our approach won’t always come of but shy bairns get nout and all thatAye and it is good to see. As much as I would be happy if we had signed him it is good to see young lads show a bit if loyalty to the clubs that developed them as kids, if we weren't going to sign him this was the alternative I wanted to see.
To sign a pro contract with a club lowered down the pyramid when it's likely the top 4 were circling shows a confidence in one's own abilities and chances of making it to the top and at one if them teams in the end anyway.
Must have a conscious.....oh hang on![]()
deodrant over the road saying a permo bid has gone in for Broadhead this week.
Think the club are a bit concerned about his injury record so may want to give him a shorter deal but with clauses in to trigger extensions? Maybe it gets extended if he plays x amount of games and so on?Yeah. It's what I said on Thursday. The contract situation is the interesting variable. Still think it happens. Normally when both sides want it , it happens.
no smoke without fire so I reckon we want Broadhead permanently and Parrot in on loan. And I reckon both happen.
Both are good options because both can play with Stewart, or both could play together. And it very much mitigates the risk of Broadhead's injury proneness, which is really only a problem if he's part of just a 2 striker squad
He reads the forums mate I wouldn’t take noticeLad on Twitter who mentioned a left footed cab from the prem has said that we’re in talks with 2 strikers and want to bring both in…

I’d personally like an alternative to Evans as I’m not sure we’ve anyone else on our squad that can effectively play the role he does and he won’t be able to play every games. Otherwise I agree.Spot on. It looks like we're interested in both of these and they'd provide the perfect squad balance. Parrot has played off the left and as a 2nd striker. We know what Broadhead can do and his injury issues are eased by us having another option. We're almost sorted if we get these 2 in my opinion. A keeper is the only other essential.

I tend to agree with this. Winchester is maybe the closest but I dont think he has the same discipline. Maybe Matete can be coached into it, but on what we have seen so far he needs more licence to get up and down. ONien will never let you down but would be a worry if needed to play an extended number of games in that position where discipline and concentration is everything. Harsh on Evans but I would be looking to upgrade now. Someone like Ryan Woods would be ideal in my opinion.I’d personally like an alternative to Evans as I’m not sure we’ve anyone else on our squad that can effectively play the role he does and he won’t be able to play every games.
