Quite a good description of the tour https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...-2022-stage-by-stage-guide-to-this-years-race
No which is a shame as he needs to win 1 more stage to beat the record of Tour de France stage wins probably his last chance as he's 37
I just watched the highlights of yesterday's stage, what a fantastic race. Vingegaard takes the yellow off Pogacar, who cracked for the first time in this tour, so he is not invincible. Both Thomas & Yates took time out of him too, but Vingegaard is now 59 seconds ahead of Quintana in 2nd, a nd 3 minutes ahead of Podacar.
Just finished watching the highlights, really good day for the Brits. Top Pidcock won the stage, G riding a very intelligent race and up to 3rd in the GC, and Froome and Yates both having a good day also.
True sportsmanship between the leading two Pogacar (who crashed) and Vinegegard - who waited for him to catch up
Geraint Thomas has a 26 second lead going into the time trial which is the penultimate stage in the Giro d'italia, he must stand a good chance of winning it.
As G said at least he beat him by some margin, if it had been a second or two then he would have felt worst about it. Still 2nd in the Giro is not a bad result.
