Looked a real prospect, but even early on Keane was calling him out on keeping out of clubs and so on.

Not the first, won't be the last, but he probably has sod all money after earning a relative fortune, and must wake up sometimes and wonder "what the feck happened there ?"

Without looking at that title it could be Maja, Wickham, Brady, Kenwyne, etc etc etc.

Why some players can't apply themselves for ten or fifteen years is a puzzle ...

Sean Thornton was the same.

My dad worked the doors in the town and had to chuck him out of Chase many times.

Did Maja and Kenwyne Jones have issues similar to others. Maja was more he had his head turned by money, should never have got to that point as he should have been given a new contract as soon as he was in the first team.

Kenwyne Jones was it not down to the fact he was never the same after his injury?

I don’t recognise his initials, I’m 54 so would probably have recognised or knew who he was.

If you ever turned out round the harbour in the 90s you’ll absolutely know him and probably my uncle, who has the same initials.
