The extra money can get teams better players and keeps them tbh.
If we were getting CL football in the early 2000s and the 2010s we may not have lost Carrick Berbatov, Bale, Modric etc.
Personally, I am an old git so think that the CL should be for Champions, they should reintroduce the European Cup Winners Cup for each country's FA Cup winners and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th spot and league Cup winners get into the EL.
