You'd love it. It's still got a garlic taste without being crazy overpowering. And the pickling makes it nice and crunchy. Can be difficult to get it fresh though, lots of the stuff in jars is a bit meh
Not sure how you do it in Wales, but the Cornish boil the water in a pan then place the egg in it apparently.
I love shellfish and those prawns wouldn't last long on my plate, that would be my starter. I'd probably lob the squid in the bin though.
