Why is it when Newcastle sign a player they automatically become obsessed with us and say things to try and get likes from Newcastle fans.
St Maximin is the same. As a club we've had feck all to do with them in their playing careers.
Its pretty Cringeworthy really and just goes to show although we are 2 leagues apart, we will always live in their heads because for some reason their players that have never even experienced a derby match feel the need to have a dig at us.

It's ****ing strange as ****. And if someone hasn't replied to him with a dig about crowds at stonings and beheadings I will be shocked.

Doesn't even make sense, the thick twat. Bet at least 3/4 of the crowd were from Sunderland and beyond.

Does anyone else think they have lessons on getting a dig in at Sunderland whenever and however you can? It's almost as if the club are aware they will lap that **** up so tell the players to do it. It happens too often and when it's stuff like this completely unrelated go football it's ****ing odd.

We all know they think their city is amazing and Sunderland is a **** hole etc. But why do their players get involved?

Has he been ****e since signing by any chance?

Why bring football into a music event anyway. Even if you do, this is just a rubbish comment. For all he knows there could have been 5000 from Sunderland there just for the music.

Its an absolutely pathetic attempt to try and get the fans of his new team to like him.
Its strange that St Mamimun and many others use us to try and gain likes and attention aswell.
Like i say, we're in different leagues now, if we werent id understand it abit more.
It just proves how obsessed everyone associated to the club is with us.

I agree with this, it come from the club. They sign players who I reckon had no idea of our rivalry who spout on about Newcastle and Sunderland ****e, plus in typical mag fashion they go on about the city's etc.

I think the club encourage it and players use it when they in ****e form to get a few weeks grace period.

Along with a DVD of when they last beat us, a Jimmy Nail CD and a Greggs voucher.

  18. Exactly right marra. Some of these players are informed by their media people, with links to local news,to provide a quote they couldn't possibly have thought of themselves. If they're not playing particularly well,it goes towards ingratiating themselves with the deluded unwashed.
