Possibly, but it wouldn't be particularly wise. That particular trick has already started to hurt big clubs rather badly in retaining young talent. Promising him time and then consigning Broja to a bit role when he could be a consistent PL starter would be the sort of thing that would remain fresh in the mind of youngsters (and their agents) for quite a while.
Did you have to sit on your hands/hide your red and white scarf, or were the Spurs fans honest enough to admit that we played them off the park first half, and should have won by a hatful of goals?
Living up in the Midlands, Villa fans would gladly take £5m for him but we could afford his wages anymore
Thought so, there were many rested, couldn't be arsed to check the details. My Dutch mates impressed with JWP and the team overall.
And as I said last night, the decision to rest 10 players for Coventry now seems totally justified. The energy levels were stupendous last night.
I wonder if the takeover going through has given the club a feelgood factor. Perhaps it has relaxed the players and given them confidence.
What a game…..what a team. That was the saints of yesteryear you could always rely on saints giving every body a game. Well done my saints. Also planning a disabled space for a season ticket next year if the lord allows!
Why did Jonathan Pearce say it was bad defending for Spurs first disallowed goal? It was in fact good defending as we got our line right. Moron.
