You've posted dozens of times that Johnson was the problem ... ... now he's been sacked you're blaming KLD who sacked him, Speakman, the players and the entire set up at the club. Not being rude but I'm feeling quite optimistic and can't be bothered with your endless doom and gloom routine. There are better posters to talk to, no offence.
Dajku, the young German player in a foreign country that works his bollox off most games but obviously needs coaching will never play above a league 1 level? What exactly do you expect from him? Has he improved? Is he willing to learn?
All valid points mate, and I absolutely respect your standpoint on that. I just see the other side, he put a rocket up the club and his status alone would bring a lift. Aye there’s an element of nostalgia, but for me there’s a big slice of logic and positives too. Wont be him anyway.
He could improve then be somewhere else next season, so could Hoffman, Doyle, Roberts, Defoe, Broadhead! I’ve had these discussions for years with mates, lads in pubs at games etc with their baseless optimism and we now find ourselves in league 1 for fourth season in a row! The last time I had real hope as a fan was under Keane, it really felt like we were going somewhere and it’s been me shambles after another since.
I think all of the players we signed have shown they ar good prospects and gives us a great deal of hope for the new policy good forward. Yeah we got humped a few times and it's worrying but I'm not sure how much blame sits on players and how much is with manager? Setting up wrong for conditions on two occasions, not realising we can't play 4 at the back etc.
They will be elsewhere if we don't get promotion this season but you can't fault the recruitment because of that? Would you rather we sign league 1 journeymen cause they will sign up for 3 years and be here next season regardless?
I have said all only there is a player there is djaku, he just needs coaching. Cirkin / Hoffman / Doyle was / are highly rated and left to get game time. For where we are I am comfortable with the strategy

So what was point in them if don’t get up and not here next season? That has to be the worst recruitment drive ever! Linked with Kingolo, now that would be a signing that would signal intent.
The players we have signed are all good prospects. I think a large part of the problem is the players we haven't signed (until, perhaps, tonight).
To get us up thos season and sign permanent deals next season when we were in a higher league. They can play at a higher level and will do one to get that next season, if you think signing players that will be able to get over to a higher level if we don't go up is the worst recruitment ever you have a different view in what recruitment should be than me. What type of signing should we have been making? Yeah I'd love to see everyone come in on permanent deals bit if that isn't and option but temporary with the chance of permanent next year is better than nothing.
No doubt that we've signed a lot of 'prospects'. The issue I have with them is that we have A LOT of young lads on the pitch together who are in their first competitive season. When things go wrong, it's easy for young heads to drop. I'm all for blooding youth but there's an argument that on occasion this season we've gone a little overboard.
I don’t mind the odd loan but not when we could end up at least six players down in summer. I’d have liked to get decent championship players. Batth comes with decent pedigree at that level. Kongolo would be same. The Germans aren’t up to much in my opinion and are being cut slack due to fact they’re at big clubs. Waste of time them two. Doyle don’t mind but can’t be relied on week in week out like we have done. Evans and Pritchard are crocks which is why they’re here. Huggins hasn’t kicked a ball really and cirkin looks Ok. How if this recruitment is so good are we languishing in 3rd place?
Correct. It’s bizarre that we are waxing lyrical about recruitnent yet sit well behind Wigan who signed max power who wasn’t good enough for us.
Because a) it takes time to build a team, and b) no matter what you do, nothing is a given in sport. But I think you know this really.
