When Mahomes is on it he is virtually unplayable . He is just so quick and mobile he can blow your game plan apart .
Unbelievable Divisional weekend. I am sorry I have just seen this thread. There is alternative viewing to the Sky broadcast and their 'pundits'. The NFL have an app, "NFL Game Pass", it is season long availability, watch any game live etc etc. The app is available on smart phones; also on Samsung and LG smart TVs, just searchfor it. The subscription is discounted at the moment to cover the last few games. https://www.googleadservices.com/pa...=2ahUKEwiHteu-6cz1AhVaHjQIHQv4B0UQ0Qx6BAgDEAE
Yeah it's not bad value . I tend to watch Red Zone on a Sunday night plus Channel 5 MNF . ALSO have Sky Go so I t doesn't cost me very much
I was a St. Louis Rams fan from 1995 until S(a)tan Kroenke kicked the city in the groin in 2015 and moved them to LA. Is there a worse owner in all of sport? The thought of the Rams playing in the Super Bowl, in their own stadium, turns my stomach. I've always hated the 49ers but I hope they win next weekend. I'll support the AFC champion in the Super Bowl. I suppose I'll be Chefs . . . great googly moogly.
Probably how LA Rams fans felt in the mid 90s when they had their team ripped away . Gone full circle !
When in the states I was trying to find a Detriot Tigers shirt, couldn't find one. Not even in the shops around Wrigley Field. Home of Chicago Cubs. Bloke in the shop said I know a place. Where's that? I asked. Detriot, he replied. Smart arse.
No, you didn't correct anything. The Rams left LA long before 1995, and left the entire Southern California region for lack of support. Ironically, they are complaining about lack of support again, and anyone who watches the game this weekend will see and hear a considerable presence of 49ers fans because they cannot sell out a brand new stadium with a championship caliber team. Still, if the Rams, for some cosmic reasons, belong in Los Angeles and only Los Angeles, then the owners and league should have placed them there according to their own rules and the laws of the land. As it was they violated both, which is why they will be paying close to $1B ($780M plus some additional expenses unquantified at this point) to the the city of St. Louis and entities associated with the St. Louis Rams franchise. Or, they could have reserved the name and logo for Los Angeles as they did the Cleveland Browns. The NFL and Kroenke acted like gangsters and do not deserve support of the fans.
Rams history: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Los_Angeles_Rams Cardinals history: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_Cardinals
The Chicago Cardinals were owned by a dry cleaning magnate named Charles Bidwill, whose wife inherited the team upon his death in 1947. In 1960, she married a St. Louis businessman and moved to St. Louis, taking the team with her. She gave both the St. Louis Cardinals and the dry cleaning business to her two sons, who later split them up, the NFL team going to Bill Bidwill and the dry cleaning enterprise to Charles Bidwill, Jr. Thus, the St. Louis Cardinals became the only team in the NFL whose owner relied on the team for his profit and loss. Bill Bidwill was a notorious cheapskate, and the team suffered for it with low salaries, poor facilities, and little cooperation with local authorities. Tired of playing second fiddle to the wildly popular St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, he demanded the city build him a domed stadium or lose the franchise to another city. The city rallied to propose a taxpayer funded 70,000 outdoor stadium, but it wasn't what he asked for. He moved the team to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987, where he finally got his indoor stadium . . . . 19 years later, after playing in an outdoor stadium in stifling heat. Ironically, the Anaheim Rams moved to St. Louis in 1995 after their owner died and left the franchise to his widow, who eventually moved the team to St. Louis.
Yeah I'd love to see the Bengals prevail but Mahomes is the simple reason why . Hopefully he has an off day . Rams may struggle against San Francisco defense . I've got my beer in ready to watch
Big day today, Bengals go to the favourites, Chiefs, & the Rams host the 49ers. Will it be the expected Kansas v LA Super Bowl, or will Cincinnati or San Francisco upset the apple cart?
