JCH is way to good for back up for RS and I don't know how he would fit in to a starting 11 every week. Would love to get him in tho.
It's not goals we are struggling with...it's at the other end. Really we need back up for RS. But imo it's a big powerful CM we need.

Looks like Patrick Roberts is done on our end. It’s now up to him. That’s if Deodrant2 is telling the truth but he’s usually spot on so no reason to doubt him.
Some sort of package with Man City? If that’s true must want a settlement which is fair, pretty sure same happened with Mcgeady and Everton when he signed, if that’s true mind

I'd like to think we have irons in the fire so I won't question that. I'd also like to think if we are doing business, we keep all in house. I'd like to think that money being mentioned as an issue is pie on the sky. We'll see. FTM
I am relaxed about signing players. Under the new owner and recruitmenr team we have proven consistently we will spend money and get a good profile of player. I think they will know who and what they want and will be working professionally to get it done. Last night wont panic them I sure and we will do it properly. I would worry if we suddenly saw a bit of panic buying, or players of a different profile to what we have been seeing. To me that means Defoe and Clarke-Harris would seem unlikely.
Defoe, I'm ot sure about that one. If he is willing to come as a player/coach with time spent mentoring and getting his badges (if he hasn't got them already) and willing to come and be on a lot less than he is used to then it would be an exception for the right reasons. Defoe was one of the most professional players we ever had at the club (you don't carry on untik nearly 40 without lookikg after your body away from football too, watching what you eat and drink etc all the time) and would have the right attitude but his experience and attitude would be good to have around the place.
Reckon he would do well as a bit part player aswell! Maybe I'm being sentimental there but I think a lot of what he had would stay with age its just how much he can do each week.
Wouldnt be against it, and would give everyone a lift. Just not convinced the current recruitment team think that way.
Alex Crook is the guy from talksport who is basically their transfer guy. He seems to ferret out info for them. Clarke-Harris hasnt played much for Peterborough but dont know why. Personally cant see this one but a different source for the rumour at least.
