If Colo doesn't like it I am sure he will leave, just as Barton did when he was asked to take a pay cut. Doesn't bother me, the financial well being of the club is more important than the happiness of one player. As has been proved with Cabaye though it is possible to find a cheaper player who is actually better should you have to.

Yep. Colo is the type who would reduce the wages tbf. He is really settled here, his best mate Jonas has just signed a new deal and if he left he wouldn't get £80k a week so no point of him not accepting it really. Plus, his kids are Geordies and wouldn't think they would wanna leave :)

This aswell. But, he wouldn't get £80k anywhere else so wouldn't see point of leaving
