Can’t be mad at it. We’re using the promise of opportunity to take the best young talent from other clubs. Others will be doing it with ours too. Cuts both ways. I’d much rather that these players bet on themselves and left to play instead of sitting in B/U18s teams until they get released on the back of a few hit and miss loans. Kegs was for sure talked about as a great prospect but, as we all know, that leap to first team is hard. It’s also a big risk for a manager to throw those young players in and moreso at a PL level.
Can only go by what I have read and seen about him, has put in some useful appearances at all levels but too early to say how good he could be. A dozen appearances at PL 2 level isn't a great guide.
