****ing muppet, members of the public ? Thick arsehole doesn't even recognise a terrorist attack ffs. All these maggots need to be assembled into one vast space and napalmed. Scum like this are exactly what's wrong with this country. I despair
That tosser is plainly an attention-seeking loser posting from his Mum's attic. Which other 'maggots' would you like napalmed?
Too many to mention these days pal I'm afraid. All the scum of the earth preferably ! Start with the Somalian maggot that committed this act and the copper who murdered that poor young girl. This country is far too Liberal and these ****ers all know that. Commit whatever inhumane act you want and you won't get anything like what you would on any other country. All the lefties will be up in arms complaining that their civil rights have been compromised. If your gonna give them life , make sure it is life and preferably in a Mexican or Colombian prison. See how they like them apples, not many civil rights there !
Nothing like the outrage and indignation on here following the tragic murder yesterday, compared to when Jo Cox was murdered. Not a competition obviously, but I've noticed the same on Facebook too. How long before 'oh well, he was a Tory' posts emerge?
Anyone who thinks or says that deserves a proper punishment. Season ticket at Stamford Bridge and forced to keep your eyes open for the whole game and join in with their songs.
Not sure you are right Col....it seems very sadly similar outpouring. It does not matter if an MP is killed by a right wing or a religious nutter. No MP should ever be put in danger. Everyone is democratically elected ..and are doing the job they were elected to do. Both Jo Cox and David Amess were killed at MP surgeries, caring for the constituency But l do fear we are no longer "shocked by the new".... Before Jo Cox murder of people like this never happened in THIS country, but now following the attacks on Westminster Bridge, Parliament Gardens, Borough Market, Fishmongers Hall. We are now "getting used to it". I have been reading here about UK being too lenient with terrorists in this country. But I read this morning the the suspect who carried out the attack and made no attempt to escape, and waited to be arrested. This single act was his path to his idea of redemption. Capital punishment would make no difference to him, in fact it would glorify even more the act. And no Col...I have no idea of any punishment that would solve that ideology. I have no idea how to combat any of this. It is so desperately sad
Blimey Col, thats a poor post by your standards mate. I dont think murder is ever competetive. The people who commit these atrocities are obviously ****ing mental, as in the Jo Cox case as in the Sarah Everard case as in every murder really. Its was a sad day yesterday, i feel for this MP's family and friends. People are getting murdered on a daily basis in this country and it only highlights the direction we are going in. Would capital punishment, the death sentence have put these people off committing such a crime, i highly doubt it as they are ****ing mental!
I think we have to look at the nature of Islam, because this is behind many of the atrocities in this country. Attackers getting religion in a big way. If a Christian does, they read the bible more and lecture people to the point of boredom. If Buddists do, they tend to be extra kind to animals. If a Muslim gets religion, they take up a knife and scream for blood and revenge for various wrongs they perceive have been done to them or Mohammed. It really is a dangerous, Medieval religion. And we have boatloads of male followers arriving illegally on our shores every day. Most won't cause trouble unless they're whipped up by their imams. But you only need a few in search of paradise to change our society forever. And that's what's happening. We have a Fifth Column in our midst.
I pointedly said that it isn't a competition mate. Just an observation. There were pages and pages of posts, pointing out the rise of the far right following the murder of Jo Cox. Not that many comments at all about this latest murder. Maybe, and I suspect she has a point, Beth is right and this kind of terrible event is just accepted more as common place. I'm not suggesting that anyone on here would post anything about it only being a Tory. I was referring more to social media in general. Agreed, I'm not sure a death penalty would deter these people. Possibly the opposite in fact. Anyway, with respect to Quality's friend, I'll leave it there.
Don't wish to turn it into a point-scoring competition but this isn't exclusive to Islam or even the UK as a whole. Remember what happened to Gabby Giffords in Arizona 10 years ago, she was fortunate to survive. Even earlier this year armed citizens stormed the US Capitol building. Sadly we live in a society now whereby an offensive tweet will lead to immediate arrest and trial whilst red-alert terror suspects are going unchecked - this is what happens in a society whereby words now matter more than actions do.
Nothing is exclusive, but if you do turn it into a point scoring exercise, you'll find the vast majority of recent terrorist deaths in the UK are Islam related.
Chicken and egg argument. Some would argue it is vulnerable boys/girls being brainwashed and led astray then use the name of Islam as a guise to defend their actions, others would argue Islam is squarely at fault. I tend to believe the former. When the KKK were killing black people in the thousands in the name of the Bible, it never occurred to me that Christianity was at fault. The danger of stigmatising Islam as a whole is that it feeds into the narrative of extremists trying to recruit and also disillusions the 99.999999% of ordinary Muslims who are law-abiding and just trying to live their lives.
Suppose the KKK and other Christian sects were killing non-believers regularly and in great numbers all around the world, in every country. Carrying out atrocities in the name of their God. Would you question Christianity then?
Depends on the context but i'd imagine I would. I know I must sound like an apologist here but these attacks don't just happen anywhere, they happen exclusively in countries with bad foreign policy and where tensions between Judeo-Christian community and Islam are high. I've never had of any Islamic attack on Caribbean soil or in China/Japan etc.
China has had huge problems with Islamic terrorism. Hence, the crackdown on the Uyghurs. Japan only has a small Muslim population. Burma has had problem with Islamic terrorism which resulted in the Rohingya clamp down. There are radical Islamic terror groups growing in Trinidad. Relates to the philosophy of worldwide jihad.
