Don’t be. That was still an epic achievement.
I hope Max doesn’t celebrate when there’s a guy in the medical centre after a big shunt. 
That should be the lap that should says to Toto about Valerie Bottas, you are the weakest link , goodbye, Hello George, your next race will be in the Mercedes with Lewis
I genuinely think though that in years to come they will still be talking about that performance from George, in the same way they talk about Senna’s first lap at Donington in the wet. What a demonstration of his skills.
One of the all-time great laps from George. He should be in a Merc now, if he's not there next year it's criminal.
Either way, I reckon he may not have won pole but surely he has won a Mercedes drive. He’s just out-qualified Hamilton.

Disappointed Lewis' lap wasn't a tad more competitive to Max but oh well. 3rd may not be a bad place to start at Spa. If he can tuck up at the start and take 2nd and then stay with Max after turn 1 and follow him up through Eau Rouge you get one hell of a slip stream down to turn 7.
I think it was Vettel back in 2018 that got Lewis in a similar manner right before a safety car.

George deserves his day but let's not forget he was on Inters, having not used as many as the other teams.
Williams/George had same number of tyres as other teams. Merc might be in trouble during race as they have used all their sets of inters!
