He is a 6’2” Serbian born Brazilian . Hopefully he has parts Vidic style Serbian hard man and parts Brazilian technique/skill
Nope but on Wiki it says that he is an interesting mix of Brazilian, Portuguese and Serbian and was purchased by Siniša Mihajlović so he must be tough!
He hasn't been able to nail down a consistent starting job with a bad Torino side that shipped an awful lot of goals...he lost his starting job midway through last season and spent most of the second half on the bench. Yay?
Never heard of him and judging by his recent history isn't one to get excited about... but as always, we can only judge based on his appearances in a saints shirt. The good news is this surely means we will be buying a CM as there are funds remaining - also, we still have a loan slot available which I imagine Ralph will want to utilise.
Very likely then. More info, Lyanco played 23 times last season. Torino finished 17th in Serie A last season with fifth worst defensive record in the league. That could be for a number of reasons, but on the face of it I am not feeling overly enthused.
I think first choice pairing will be Bedders and Salisu unless this guy comes in and rips up some trees. I think the Salisu/Bedders combination was probably always the intention anyway right? I'd be disappointed if we don't get a decent CM in as well though
Not convinced we are keeping cards close to our chest. Or we have T-Rex arms and clowns pockets. But still think we are waiting if something comes up last day or so of the window. Bit like Van der Vaart to Spuds years ago...
Think it's more likely that this is less clever, opportunistic positioning, and more that we don't have money. His framing looks like it's less a back-up first-team LB, and more someone who will fill a gap in the youth ranks.
I'm open minded on this signing. Who's that in the England shirt?.........its bugging me please log in to view this image
I have just read he’s quite quick but not very good with his left foot. Would have preferred Worrall being honest.
This is Saints, hope only leads to disappointment. Better off for our own health to assume the worst and be surprised if anything else happens.
