Very encouraging window. 4 points form these 2 difficult away games this week and the next home game will be bouncing again.
Sweet Jesus of Nazareth

I wasn't having a go but if you're going to call me stupid for no reason I feel obliged to point out why you're wrong...
Firstly, I'm pretty sure if Spurs wanted to keep Cirkin he'd still be a Spurs player. Doyle looks decent but it was one game, how many players have the odd good game here or there and then fade into oblivion? Literally thousands.
£1m is a lot of money in this league, it's feck all to a Prem team. In recent years, we've spunked more than that on the likes of Charis Mavrias, Donald Love, Moberg-Karlsson, Mika, etc... Does that automatically make them superstars at League One level?
As for "he must be good coz West Ham fans rate him"... Remember the likes of Ryan Noble who was destined to be a future England star according to some on here when he was tearing it up in the U23s? There's been loads of youth players like that over the years, fans tend to hype their own younguns up because they want to believe their team has found the next big thing, but the reality is most of them don't really know what they're talking about. Hell, there were a fair few on here just last season saying Denver Hume would be playing in the Prem within a couple years.
The idea that Alves is automatically one of the best defenders in the league just because a few West Ham fans like him is really quite funny.
When did i call YOU stupid? I said you should change your name to David Moyes stupid COMMENT not PERSON..
Im not sure how much of a fan you are but if youve been watching our pre-season friendlies youd realise that Doyle has had more than one good game for us and the way he handled Wigans attack last Saturday showed how much of a key player he's going to be for us not only defensively but also his ability to play it out from the back. He looks head and Shoulders above League 1 standard in every way. Hes also physically capable as was saw last week when he came up against Wyke.
Have you read Cirkins interview when he signed? If you have then you'll already know the reason why he chose to turn down a new deal with Spurs and come to us. Spurs wanted to keep him. They rated him that much he trained with their first team so why are you being so negative and saying he'd still be a Spurs player now if they really wanted him?
If youd have read the interview from Alves youd also realise he's not a young academy prospect of West Hams, so im not sure why your bringing Noble and Hume into this? They signed him for 1.4m after playing first team football in the Danish league. He's been very impressive for them this pre-season so to get him down here and adding him to the defence with the other 2 is pretty exciting imo.
The fans have every right to be excited over these signings so stop coming on here and accusing people of being biased? Its abit of a sh#t thing to do really especially when its obvious you havent even done your homework on any of these players before trying to shoot them down.

It's rather nice to catch up on this thread, a young hungry exciting squad coming together very nicely, with a mix of older players.
Such a difference to previous years scattergun approach
Maybe his brother Maurice is coming on board??You are correct. I won't be saying anything else about that.
It's hard not to get excited. But we must try. You know what happens next. It's rather nice to catch up on this thread, a young hungry exciting squad coming together very nicely, with a mix of older players.

And I just can’t hide it.It's hard not to get carried away but I agree, will be 35k+ next home game if we manage to get at least 4 points from the next 2.
Everything seems to be falling perfectly into place with some astute signings combined with the emergence of younger players being given a chance in the first team. If we sign a quality striker to support Stewart I can honestly see us streamrolling teams at home with the crowd pretty much giving us a 1 goal head start.
I'm so excited.

Only natural to worry, you care. I honestly look behind the scenes and it keeps me positive. Money spent in the right areas. The new pitch was always going to attract good loans.Well I hang my head in shame….. I have frustratingly criticised the club for not getting players in quick enough but I have to say hats off to the recruitment team so far. Still need a few more but excellent signings so far
Yeah I’m ok with recruitment so farWell I hang my head in shame….. I have frustratingly criticised the club for not getting players in quick enough but I have to say hats off to the recruitment team so far. Still need a few more but excellent signings so far
Think Alves can play as right back if needed as well, still need a specialist RB though. We just need a RB and a decent striker.
