The whole team is energetic which we've needed to play the type of game LJ wants to playProbably the most energetic defence we have had since under big Sam

I can’t quite comprehend this notion from Sunderland it was so frustrating last season watching us wander out against other teams that ran at us at speed !Probably the most energetic defence we have had since under big Sam

So the crack from earlier in this thread was that we are waiting from the other club for a centre back to sign before they release theirs to us then Wright is off. Have West Ham signed one ? Either way, looks like Wright is off, hopefully to a competitor who needs someone pacy and mobile. You must log in or register to see media

3 more for me and I'll be well chuffed with this windowExactly. Key aspect now. That and move out with the ball. Modern day approach.
This lad, Cirkin and Doyle and our technical ability has rocketed. Compare that to Wright, McFlange and McLaughlin. Light years better.Exactly. Key aspect now. That and move out with the ball. Modern day approach.
Think he'll stay until at least January then we can assess Arby's fitness
Maybe, just maybe we might see that fabled 'midfielder with pace and power' some time soon.....I can’t quite comprehend this notion from Sunderland it was so frustrating last season watching us wander out against other teams that ran at us at speed !
I think us getting Cirkin, allowing Neil to go back to midfield means we were no longer interested in him so he has ended up at his second choice destination, Donny. Well, that's my theory anyway.A positon we are strongest in now.

This lad looks rapid. Just what we need after losing SandersonYou must log in or register to see media
Definitely need Bailey Wright to add a bit experience to the back line, imo he's a quality defender in L1. Also LJ has him in his 'leadership group' so he must see him as an integral part at least.
I’d lose Wright in a nano second . Really don’t think he’s very good. Canny lad but past it. Ruined by injuries I reckon.Definitely need Bailey Wright to add a bit experience to the back line, imo he's a quality defender in L1. Key 21
Alves 21
Doyle 17
Cirkin 19
Young defence that
I'm not going to cry if he stays, he's a good player at this level, just not the sort of player Johnson wants in his first XIBeen reported Wright too expensive for Wigan now after they signed Jones.
We haven’t had an offer accepted. The lad is just saying what is a possibility.I must've missed something - has Key been confirmed?
Which is an important point to consider - for too many years we've sacked managers mid-season and are left with a squad full of players the new man doesn't want. It's time we started looking at similar models that have seen clubs like Swansea, Luton and Brentford achieve success despite changing the Head Coach - recruitment that isn't just based on the Manager's rolodex and a coaching staff that aren't necessarily his usual picksRemember, there isn't just LJ making these calls.
