Got to give the new man a chance as long as he doesn’t say that he has seen all the DVDs showing the Swansea Way
Here’s the announcement from the Club: Swansea City’s pre-season fixture against Bristol Rovers has been cancelled due to positive cases of Covid-19 within the first team bubble. The game was scheduled to take place at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday (3pm). After positive cases were identified, the club decided it was in the best interests of both players and staff – as well as everyone connected with Bristol Rovers – to cancel Saturday’s game in order to minimise the potential spread of the virus. In keeping with Welsh Government guidelines, those individuals who tested positive will now undergo a period of isolation. All staff and players within the first team bubble will undergo ongoing monitoring and testing. All supporters who purchased a pass for the SwansTV Live stream will be refunded accordingly. We would like to thank Bristol Rovers for their understanding on this matter and wish them well for the season ahead.
Right thing to do, but how did Scotland manage to continue to play in the Euros after their positive test.
I suppose it does give that ponce Don Goodman the opportunity to say “Swansea lost their identity under Steve Cooper” you watch, first game. Fvckin predictable like getting the sh1ts after a lamb dinner (bad analogy- maybe just me).
Well he should - we told him and Dave Prutton exactly that as we left Wembley and walked down Wembley Way with them
If Toshack junior gets the job and that would be the cheap option what contracts has he got? Welsh under 21s and the Maltese or Cypriot leagues.....or would Toshack senior get involved....cynical I know but it is getting ridiculous. I all my years of supporting the Swans I can’t remember a mmdefenite managerial signing turning the job down at the 11th hour
Just hope it isn’t toshack, but I have a feeling he is the cheap option and maybe the only one who wants the efing job. Have we become that unattractive a club that no one wants us.
Angel Rangel would want it, as Mike Flynn and Osian Roberts. All would have some contacts. I can’t help but think that if Birch was still here, this situation would not have happened: Cooper would have gone weeks ago and a new Manager already in situ.
