As I and @Sheikh_of_Araby have said already, the tone of the club statement was very different this time. I suppose there could be legs in the theory that the club wanted this to happen. The rumours are an update to the CAT case will appear this week so I guess the best option is to wait for that (if it appears) and see if that sheds any light on the bigger picture. I’m still hopeful, but more so out of desperation than anything else.
If you want to be positive good for you. Equally the people who now feel more negative about the situation have every right to. Judgments about people due to whether they are positive or negative based on yesterday’s news are tedious. Each to their own. Ultimately, as yesterdays news shows, no one knows anything. So being able to predict the outcome of this is a flip of a coin. I don’t generally care whether I’m right or wrong on predictions like that so Time will tell. I think equally the premier league could have asked for disclosure on information they knew would not be possible to get. Then deliberately withheld information knowing they could then say both sides failed. No one knows. People can be positive or negative on this. Based on the information we have the right answer is a flip of a coin. So I’d feel nothing of my gut is right or someone’s else’s is. Unfortunately we’re back in the news vacuum with a lot of very frustrated people where the only thing we can do is bicker about the outcome of this coin toss that may or may not happen in the next year. I’ll try my best to avoid that.
Only 4 weeks to go until we've got PL football to look forward to again though (cough cough). That should prove to be a nice distraction......NOT !!
Nobody said they don't and what's tedious to me is the fans claiming it's off all the time when it's just not and never has been. Even after pif withdrew it was quickly reported it might still have legs If the negative brigade want to forget it then forget it, they're not are they? They keep hanging around moaning and telling me and others to move on. The amount of times I've heard them saying we need to move on... Erm excuse me, but no we don't. I wish they'd give up, go away from this thread tbh and let the people with open minds debate on all the possibilities without being told what we need to do.
If we loan willock there's no reason why we can't continue with the form we had the last 18 games.. Let's not forget during that period we lost Wilson, almiron, max and schar for a good chunk and all at the same time. Jones is a good coach and thankfully it's not just Mrs doudtfire.
Woooooohoooooo, this thread is defo making 3,000 pages now can we set an ambitious target of 5,000? What a result! I say delay it until 2023 I mean who cares how long it takes? This thread will be the longest thread in the world by the time we are done with it!!!! P.s. this is a last ditch attempt by the EPL to kick the can down the road - personally (and I'm NITK) feel this is weirdly good news.
All that makes sense. I would not tell anyone what to do... With the exception of maybe not name calling people with a different opinion to you `thousands of emotional wrecks`
Firstly I stand by that description of people on twitter and secondly that's not anything to do with accepting opinions it's just a description of what's lead to their ott reactions on twitter. I've seen people having a go at de marco on there for example. People need to get a grip and if they want out then just **** off and stay quiet. Nobody is forcing them to stay in it or read about it. Also if I had a pound for everytime I've been insulted on here I'd buy the club mate..
We've got a decent enough side of we get Willock or not to finish mid table for the 5th year running.
Off to sunbathe. If I'm wrong you'll all be there to say haha Roy you were wrong but we'll all know we all lost. This isn't over and I'll see you all at the finish line... The good news is we'll all get an ice lolly. Never give up!
