That's some real glass half full **** right there, kudos. Y'all shoulda gone with Conte, whatever he wanted. Guy has won 9 of the last 11 league titles he has contested. As a Chelsea fan I can tell you he is the nuts. Instead you are gonna end up with some no-mark
I see you getting Potter or Parker, both IMO capable and young managers, and don’t see why the current obsession to go for basically unknown Italian managers with no PL experience (apart from ****e)
I'm sure Conte is fine for a club bankrolled by a gangster where money is no object. The rest of the league needs to run within a budget. He is clearly a very good coach but your signings under his tenure were appalling so if one of his demands was full control we were right to bin him.
Would snap your hand off for Potter at this stage tbh. DH talked me into him way back at the start of this process and given everything that’s gone on I’m more keen than ever.
He didnt have full control of signings at Chelsea, thats one of the reasons he and Roman fell out. Conte wanted to sign Lukaku, but Roman's lackeys insisted on Morata and let United take Lukaku from under him. No manager in the Roman era has had control of signings at Chelsea. He took us from 10th to the title, on a net spend of about £20m that season I should add
I think Potter is the way forward. has done really well on a limited budget with Brighton. Maybe if Levy pays so much attention to Social Media we should start #PotterIn My worry is that Levy doesn't want to pay a club for a manager and we end up with Eddie Howe.
Spurs no longer exist for footballing glory and silverware, we are now purely part of an investment portfolio. The football is not the main focus and priority that it should be, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club as we once knew it, is now just an integral part of a sports stadium, entertainment and events management company run by ENIC. These owners do not put any money into the club, all debt is covered by the football club to the detriment of the team, they are an investment company trying to maximize the value of an asset, they choose not to put money in so as to not negatively affect their equity. When our owners main focus lies away from events on the pitch, then there is no surprise we see such a cowboy approach to appointing a new manager.
You keep saying this but completely ignore the fact that we've had our best run of league finishes ever under ENIC and played in the CL several times including reaching the final. Many fans like me can now regularly watch us live as we now have a stadium with sufficient capacity. And yes trophies would have been better still but this claim that somehow we've improved league finishes dramatically while having a policy to spend too little to actually win something is preposterous. It's the last thing any owner would do even if it were possible.

Jesus Christ, how have Madrid let him get in that state, his beer belly rivals mine ffs! You'd think after paying 100m on a player they would make sure they dieted properly and trained hard enough.
I think that's him after he came back from the summer for pre-season. He admitted that he was 5kg overweight. Then he did it again.
