i see a labour m.p. nadia whittome has gone on sick leave from her duties citing post traumatic stress disorder, now i stand to be corrected but i thought this had to be associated with a shocking event as servicemen might see/do in wartime ,being buried under tons of rubble due to an explosion, life changing injuries in a horrific accident etc. perhaps she is suffering from depression well that is fine many things can trigger this in life, loss of job, house etc but she doesn't shed any light as to what traumatic event has triggered this diagnosis...she did work in a care home at the height of the pandemic which she later released a press announcement saying she had been sacked for complaining about ppe shortages, could this have triggered her ptsd?.......maybe she could talk to some of the service personnel sleeping on our streets about what real ptsd is eh
