hmm, fairly tight and twisty so I'd say it's a RBR track. Got a feeling this season could go a similar way to 18 & 19, Max will be looking the best until the summer break.
Is it my imagination or do the side pods on the Alpine flex massively? Not sure if it's a different camera angles or just can't see other car's side pods?
Danny Ricc's move to McLaren is not going how he hoped. Vettel really needed that lap. Getting the wind at the right time seems to be the key to finding a lap.
Same for me. I feel like Max should be favourite here. But I’ve just got a feeling. I think Lewis is making the difference for Merc at mo. He is keeping them in touch.
You don't seriously believe that do you? Mercedes is definitely faster then Red bull at this track and it's been 50/50 at other tracks aka not much between them.
Yeah, I do believe that. The reduction in the floor seriously compromised them. They have managed to get most of that lost performance back, but getting tyres in the right window is harder than it was. Just look at where Bottas was at Imola before the accident. In fact comparing Hamilton results to Bottas bears out what I’m saying. A good quali performance by Bottas today (although the margin was only 0.007.) Let’s see how he manages his tyres tomorrow.
Max's reaction after quali was telling. Maybe Red Bull think they need to maximise points early before that Mercedes becomes more compliant
Listened to the last 15 minutes in the car on the way home . Andrew Benson , Jack Nicholas and jog on Palmer are a fuc**ng disaster . Spent all the time talking over each other . That’s my opinion anyway
