As much as I like Dean Windass, this can hardly described as an exclusive. “I don’t have a clue” is probably the response Deano gives to most questions...
That's exactly what I thought, but you would have expected the content to be rather more enlightening than that.
Come out, come out, wherever you are. Next season is sorted. Let the bidding commence. Any rumours worth mentioning?
If Assem & Ehab really want out, then now is the best time to sell. Let's see what happens, but judging by McCann's words on Humberside tonight, there is a plan in place for next season.
Don’t have time to go through all the messages I have not read so could someone explain the comments about Enob not being here and the confidence we have new owners on the way/
I hope you are right. But history tells us that when the time is right to sell, the Allams' reaction is to stick around and imagine they will benefit just as much from those positive influences.
I believe you are right. I have no confidence they will sell. 2 reasons... 1. They will still hold out for stupid money 2. They believe they have a magic formula (production line from the academy supplemented with predominantly young, cheap hungry potentials, resulting in further Maguires, Robertsons, Bowens, ....). To be fair, it's worked this season, and they may or may not choose to cash in on a number of players who would already return a nice profit to them. I just don't see their 'magic formula'' working next season and seasons after (it isn't a magic formula at all)
They've also just gotten through a very good season where I can't think of any instances where they've stepped out of line, so from their point of view there's no pressing need to go. To be honest I wouldn't be shocked if they give promotion a real crack next season given the opportunity COVID has presented, but if we're still a Championship club the following season, that may be the point they sell.
