Every now and then it just feels great to be a Charlton fan. Back to back wins for the first time in months... OK there's still a mountain to climb (and all that) but to Hell with that this evening. UP the Addicks!
Ecstatic people ...absolute quality performance so much for it being the worst cafc ever . Really pleased for Gilbey he’s a top player at this level just needed to be fit and a run of games . Works his socks off with and without the ball.
Get well soon Smudger, great result today and Nillwall got hammered. Palarse are also getting well beaten.
I’ve always thought we’ve had enough in our squad - and now sad to say it’s obvious LB couldn’t get the best out of them
Steve Brown kept telling us about the runs he was making off the ball. You don't see them on the live stream because of the camera following the ball, but sooner or later they will pay off.
Elfs does it every week without fail ...... o hold on , he didn’t today because the palarse Chelsea odds were poo
As @Smudger603 pointed out I swerved the palice game as the odds on Chelsea would have been low. £5 returned me £55 on Swansea and Charlton romping home.
Couldn't watch the game or follow many updates yesterday due to commitments, but caught the occasional not 606 post during the day. Brilliant win and I think if we beat Lincoln we will at least get 6th spot. Above that who knows ? A repeat of the 2019 final is definitely on the cards, so yesterdays result may be important in more than one way. Would love JJ as manager one day and I think LB performed miracles with the situation he had and stayed loyal when many would have walked away sooner, but I think NA will produce more than either of them can at this point so he is definitely the man to take us forward from here. We'll never know what LB could have done with a better squad and better luck with injuries (and no mutinous players) but lets keep on eye on how he does at Birmingham. In the meantime NA's experience, enthusiasm and ability to produce success should see good times ahead for CAFC
