The last time he was mentioned - LJ said he was training but there was no rush and he's being given more time to come back when he feels ready. Given the current form of our strike force it's not really a problem.
Get away man. I said he'd travelled with the match day squad before the media caught up. You only had 'could welcome back some key players this week. Bailey Wright, Grant Leadbitter. Take this away from me and I might just go over the edge ... .. I'm begging you, let me have this or I'll crack.
Like I said previously, I would only play Leadbitter if absolutely necessary. Have him on the bench and bring him on if needed. Yes he'll probably want to play, but sometimes you need to protect the player from himself. If we're coasting bring him on just before the end for him to lift the cup - as long as it doesn't knack his shoulder!
Direct quote from Lee Johnson today on Jordan Jones: "Jordan Jones is similar and we're not sure if he'll be available, he's going to have a fitness test. "I'd say he's probably less likely to be available than Aiden." Sounds like he's out of the weekend but could be back for Accrington in midweek, or, more importantly, Lincoln the following weekend.
He's a star isn't he? I don't know how old he is but he seems a confident young lad. Not at all camera shy and he seemed to be ad-libbing it - and not reading any prompts. It creased me how he kept saying " before we go" Hope he has a great day on Sunday - along with the rest of us!
It's also my Grandsons birthday Flanders, hope you both have a great one and something extra special to celebrate at full time
