Credit to India, they pretty much batted, bowled and fielded better than England. The test selectors need to pick players for the conditions they are playing in. Unfortunately, English cricket needs more investment in development academies with club cricket having to produce better players.
Shame because at tea yesterday the game was really nicely poised and that umpires call in favour of pant in last over before tea did prove critical because if they'd gone to tea 7 down and still 50 odd behind it would have made a huge difference. As it was pant and sundar took the game away from England in that final session... Still doesn't excuse the feeble batting effort in the 2nd innings though.... In the end the side with the more skillful bowlers won....it's always a pleasure to watch high skill spin bowling even if it is the opposition landing the ball in the same spot ball after ball and varying flight and pace.....our lads always offered 1 or 2 lose balls per over which allowed the pressure to be released.....
I think the umpires call just reduced the game by half a day, England need to beat Indian here in the summer by the same score to prove they are not a bad side
A completely dominant display by England on a difficult surface, showing exactly why they're the number one ranked Nation in T20 cricket. What a fantastic limited over side we are.
Great England performance, made the chase look simple. Credit to Captain Morgan for electing to bat second.
Don’t forget we won the first test easily then got wooped. I hope our 20/20 team has more and can continue at this level
Difference is, England are the top T20 side in the world and a fantastic one day team. However, India are 2nd ranked and probably favourites for the world cup as it's their home tournament. Could be a very close, entertaining series.
England putting together a decent score in the 2nd T20, but it hasn't been easy. 111-3 after 13 and heading for 190, which should be enough.
