Respect your opinion Nin, but Moore was tired and inneffective as he was yesterday because he wasn't subbed and rested at Bournemouth.
Likewise OS, and it’s a neat argument you aver but his last 15 odd minutes industry v Bournemouth were I reckon a major factor in us keeping the ball away from our penalty area and so holding onto the points. It’s an issue MM has to address especially god forbid he gets injured, as he doesn’t have a like for like replacement. Watters didn’t even get on the bench yesterday.
But he was so isolated up top against Bournemouth that he chased everything himself because he had no support. Harris or Watters could have chased those balls down and taken them to the corner flag - it didn't need Moore to win it because he had no one with him to feed off him. Good argument anyway.
Back 5 as with the wing backs. Pack and Ralls Wilson Moore and Murphy. The important thing is the substitutions. Obviously depends on score, but 60 mins in, Baccuna on for Pack (NOT Wilson), Ojo on for Murphy. On 70 minutes, Harris on for Moore, Williams on for Wilson. Keep 1 sub in the bank in case of injury or sending off. Can always give Began 5 or 10 mins at the end. If Moore looking leggy early or we were a couple up Id swap his change with Murphy's. Edit: save Morro's legs and only play him once. Give Moore the start instead. Thanks sparkey.
I can see possibly a rotation in midfield given they’re playing 72 hours later. He may decide to give Hoilett and Williams some game time.
Hadn’t seen this OS until now. I suppose it depends on his formation but Murphy as an example. He’s only been getting 60 minutes from the start so he may start one of those I mention instead.
Journeyman coming to City next season? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...ws/sheffield-wednesday-star-lined-up-19936523
I read that. Not impressed. Hope Mick isnt going to be like Colin in the transfer market. Saying that, he's a free agent. Colin's favourite. Hopefully he'll beat us to the punch.
Disaster for Joe https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport.../cardiff-city-reveal-devastating-joe-19959418 What will this do for City’s play off push and his contract position?
That is indeed a blow. Bagan can do the job I reckon but might need just a bit more protection. His contract situation may or may not be Mick's decision given that the boss's own contract runs out at the same time. Interesting times ahead but feel gutted for Bennett
Not the career ending injury it once was, but not what you want. Sad for him and troublesom for us. Began has big boots to fill. So, we now have one fit senior player for each of our back 5 positions. Wishing Joe a speedy recovery. Hope we give him a new contract alongside Mick's. He was relishing his new role.
Ciaran Brown can play lb and cb. Did well at Livingston. Scotland I know but a regular starter there.
