So what do we really know about this Louis-Dreyfus bloke? 23 year old young and enthusiastic with a football team to play with. Who wouldn't want a stadium and academy with a solid fan base as start up? Got serious money behind him it's reasonable to assume we're gonna get some very decent players this Summer. The current players may be responding to this, given our surge in form as competition for the first team is sure to hot up in the new season. Swiss-French Would we want another American, a Saudi or Thai for instance and he grew up with football loving Marseilles as family owners he has also studied sports management Somebody shoot me. What's not to like?
I'm finally realising that after my wonderful Mam passed away last week. As a family we've been so supportive of one another, and friends I haven't seen for years have been calling and offering help and support. Look after your family and true friends, it's times like this you finally realise how much they mean. RIP Mam - love you always x
Someone will find something not to like, so far they've only come up with him being a mummy's boy and young. The alternatives, like Donald, Campbell, Storey, various consortiums, etc, would be way worse imo.
He’s got an MBA from Harvard which suggest to me he’s clever himself. Don’t think his country of origin has any reflection on how ‘good’ he’ll be. Also don’t think we’re shoe-ins to buy very decent players in the Summer, since emphasis seems to be on the academy. Y’never know tho.
It’s awesome that we are now doing stuff that is completely unnecessary but improved the fan experience. Love it.
Exactly mate, no one else will buy a stream because of this ... ... it'll just make the experience better for those who do and add another little piece of the jigsaw.
I’ll have to wait until weds morning. Was hoping he’d be on the podcast. Clever way to try to get more stream buys.
Here's the link for the article. A good start from KLD and something that gives a little extra to the fans watching https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2021/february/safc-introduce-revamped-streaming-service
I hope Frankie and Danny have the interactive screens that Sky have. Drawing some little arrows and circles around players, pausing and rewinding the play. Looking forward to the next few weeks/months as I think there will be a ton of 'off the field' stuff happening.
Interesting that it was tweeted bang on 5pm today and the takeover was bang on 3pm on Thursday. I think Rodwell was bang on 8am Friday as well. Suggests the club are using scheduled tweets which in itself isn’t that impressive, but it also hints at a “message calendar” / PR plan - to trickle the good news through day by day I expect based on nothing other than this hunch that Stewart English gets announced tomorrow dead on the hour
