    Hi Doc,

    What's you're considered opinion on Caprile ?

Having seen him a few times for the U23's he doesn't seem anywhere near ready for 1st team football whereas Meslier stood out at that level. From what I've seen Kiko would definitely be the one to step in if needed <yikes>

Question is will Caprile improve enough in the next 12 months for us to risk staying as we are.

Elia Caprile is only 19yo and is a big lad and looks like he can dominate the box. I have seen him get beaten at the near post and seen him flap when coming out. Punches instead of catching. Seen him save a penalty but seen penalties beat him. He has only ever played at youth level and at Chievo where we got him from he was seen as the next big thing. He does get a lot of U23 games which have the Dutch lad on the bench which means Skerry and the Dutch kid do more U18s. Caprile may be brilliant in the future but in my opinion right now he is way behind Meslier. Caprile is a confident lad though and you never know he could thrive like Meslier did with the first team. But a 20yo backed up by 19yo backed up by 2 18yo scares me a bit

A couple of days ago with tongue in cheek I floated the idea that Alfie's lad might sign for Leeds and got plenty of pelters “Nutter” from Elland Jammy and a few more. Guess what Ray Parlour is insisting that Haaland may prefer to play for his home town club Leeds as Leeds could afford his low transfer fee and his wage demands. He was born in Leeds, said he wants to play for Leeds in the past, his father played for Leeds and loves the place so not such a silly idea. Yes Man City are favs followed by Man Utd as not as much cash around in Spain, Germany or France and Italy finding it tough. Chelsea may fancy a go but whoever gets him will have the future of European football playing for them for a number of years, guaranteeing plenty if goals and competing at the highest levels. You never know Haaland could upset the Status Quo if Leeds get brave

See there are more nutters than just me, and might be worth putting a quid on it as you may get fantastic odds. Thank me later :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks. I tuned in to watch.

I turned it off after Ayling when the presenter started comparing Martin Keowns career with Alex Scotts. Apparently she won more caps, more league titles and went unbeaten at Arsenal far longer than the Invincibles.

I'm not Keowns greatest fan but you can't compare the two seriously although they managed to do it on the beeb without laughing. You could sense Keown wanted to be dismissive of her stats but didn't want cancelling.

YeahI know I will be called a knuckle dragger again, but I switched off as soon as Dan Walker introduced the piece on womens football. Heres a great fact, the all conquering USA womens football team were beaten 5-0 by a boys team who were all under 15. Its not my kind of football and dont recognise it as football. It reminds me of old guys recovering from illness and playing walking football. Same rules just a different game

We'd be bottom I reckon, last time we were in the top division with fans in we were relegated. Karen thinks the same.

I've actually been to see women's football. I have nothing against it.

I just disagree when it is talked about as a level playing field to professional men's football. It's ridiculous. It's nowhere near the standard. I'm not just talking physical speed and strength between women and men either. It's purely a technical and skill thing on top of that.

It was basically saying 'well done Martin Keown, you had a great career with Arsenal and England but Alex here won more trophies, caps and went on a longer unbeaten run than you'. It's ****ing weird to bring it up and put Keown down like that on national television.

I actually don't mind Alex Scott too much but she grinned along like she was some all time great and deserved to be above the invincible team including Henry.

    It's a different sport completely.

Keown is a first class twat, no backbone and frighten to speak his mind, can you imagine them doing that with the likes of Keane, Shearer or Wright one of them if not all of them would tell em to fck off.

I like Alex Scott because she knows her subject and there are other female pundits who do too. But to swamp our screens with female pundits and for the BBC to class womens football as being an equal is pure virtue signalling bollox. I have nothing against womens football but I will not be watching it or paying to watch it. So for me our National Sport is now given the same platform as a minority sport and thats stupid

it's kids standard and if people say different they are virtue signalling(again)....to actually compare scott's career with krapown is bordering on lunacy, come on people get real......oh and they even had two women drawing the men's f a cup draw as well.....it's raining men hallelujah,it's raining men amen:emoticon-0159-music

Wonder if Karen Carney or any other crap pundit has anything to say about Klopps team being tired. Loving Klopps sulks <laugh> how many points have Liverpool won in the last 6 games? Must be way fewer than Leeds

Palace still not moving towards us in the table after getting smashed by Burnley, so results still going our way

Hoping Villa can score against BHA tonight and take 3 points to leave Brighton still in relegation fight
