Same here, although I was ignored, naturally. It’s a shame it’s gotten like that over there because some of the posters are brilliant people but the minority of idiots seem to get a free pass when they’re being arseholes.
It’s a strange place, RTG. A lot of very angry people! madbob, on the takeover thread asked me the other day if I had permission to travel, not sure who he thinks I am! Ha
I had very little time for Kimpioka before, I thought he was just too raw to go particularly far in the game, but I’m genuinely excited to see him under Johnson.
We're turning into a canny side imo. One that needs work on the training ground but as Wyke has shown, the right work can completely change how a player performs. Crucially for me, we're nearly at the point of having at least two capable players for each position (goalkeeper aside like, and striker but we're obviously working on the latter). With a lot of games to fit in all teams will get injuries but we should be ideally placed to handle them
Me too. Will be a tough game today mind. Far tougher than Burton, Wigan, Wimbledon and others we’ve dropped home points against. Gillingham have had a poor season up to now but they’ve got half a new team this window (5 out, 5 in I think) and they look transformed and revitalised. I think they’ll have a strong second half of the season.
I think benji is an odd one. There's obviously a player in there. He was completely cast out before, then Parkinson came in and I was impressed that he was giving him a chance despite the daft thing the board had about not playing anyone in the last year of their contract. He slowly grew in confidence, then got a big goal (Coventry iirc) and I thought he might kick on. Never seen again! I'm looking forward to him coming back. Seen enough of him to know he won't be the answer to all our problems but he offers something different and I think Johnson might be able to get the best out of him
When Johnson became manager the Bristol fans weren’t exactly universally glowing about him but they did say that he will develop our forwards and have them performing and improving. We’ve already seen it with Wyke. It’s tangible the impact the coaching has had on his game (movement, anticipation etc). Kimpioka has such good raw ingredients to work with that if they can be refined then he could be a very good player. Better than the one I thought we had on our hands.
Think McLaughin is out for a while so may be hard to get rid of him. Could leave him out of squad though to free up wages against salary cap.
It in McGuire's head mate.. I've looked at him for a while now and he is not ,imo, showing he is committed. He has had these spell since he signed. If he thought about it and applied his skills, he would still be in the team
Anything in safc's latest tweet?? "Welcome to sunderland" KLD is here aint he, its getting announced today aint it!! Haway prehab, get that emoji on we all want to see!

I hope so but if anything it'll be related to their tweet underneath that and welcoming Vokins to Sunderland
Did anyone see the sky report on mental health at the SOL ? Was a few fans talking about the importance of football and how the closure of stadiums has fractured community chains, thus increasing and highlighting mental health issues, guess it's more prominent in places like Sunderland where football is basically a religion.
