yeah, definitely this year has been nothing majorly controversial (everyones upset with the offside decisions). I do think you were favoured you boys a bit last year but that's more through incompetence than a conspiracy. Taking nothing away from your title win though, it was always going to be heading your way with the performances you have had. I think it it's also been pretty favourable to england favourite rashford where any touch on him seems to give him a penalty which i doubt most other clubs get.
I don't think there is any VAR conspiracy against Liverpool, and I think all things even out over time. I.do feel like recently all the legitimately debatable calls.have gone against us though. Nothing deliberate. Just bad fortune.
I'd never subscribe to any conspiracy "theory" without hard evidence, but I do think bias can creep in quite a lot. I'm not claiming that we are particular victims of this - just that it does happen.
we've had 5 goals ruled offside after ball is in the net. 2 of which were extremely controversial. one was manes elbow we have had 2 goals given for var which were also both controversial. one was sons heel not his toe. basically you have refs taking the decision in a var booth to back a lino and get the result they want to get when its close. if the rule was close = on field and there was no recourse to lines then we would all be happier imo. the reality is that its not about conspiracy. its about blatant unfair actions of refs back refs and taking ages to do so so doubling spoiling the game.
Happy New Year to one and all. Wishing you all good health and happiness. Hope we all overcome our struggles and challenges and get back to 'normal ' as soon as possible. This has got to be a better year.
I heard earlier that they may introduce a tier five. Quite frankly, that would be ridiculous. Tier four is basically a full lockdown but in selected areas. What would tier five be? Assassination for stepping out your front door?
Thought 2020 was bad, yesterday my youngest collapsed in the road, she is in Leeds at Uni, came around to find she had been discovered by a bloke walking his dog who told her the ambulance was on its way. She is now in Leeds General Infirmary waiting for an operation to rebuild her left elbow/arm which has broken into many pieces as she hit the floor. They can't say if she will have any nerve damage or how much movement she will loose until after the op and physio. She just has no luck and now is worried she won't be able to play her musical instruments again and her PHD may be jeopardised. Life sucks!!
Christ what a crap start for the year for her and the rest of you . Hope everything goes well with the op & she gets a good physio .
close takeaways and schools? Essentially just back to proper national lockdown I guess is what will happen. While tier thing clearly hasn’t worked properly
Ouch, sounds horrendous.... leeds joking aside fingers crossed all works out ok. Do they know why she collapsed? Hopefully nothing too serious
She has had no luck the past two years. She was 21 when she started collapsing as her heart stops. They have been trying to establish what is causing it and seem to think it is a small valve which is supposed to monitor blood pressure to the heart. When you exert yourself it increases your blood pressure, hers does not and the low blood pressure means her heart stops without warning and she collapses.
That sounds terrible, never knowing when that might happen again. I do hope they can find a way where she can manage that and that she surrounds herself with good friends when she can.
This is the first time it has happened when she has been on her own, if walking down a suburban street can be classed as that.
