True, but we did do that against Burnley and Brighton. No team is going to win them all or go unbeaten. We are still only 3 points behind second place.
True but we could also be tenth once others have played. Just think when it's tight like it is this season that small things like this can end up making all the difference. Fine margins as they say.
Wasn't pretty, but I saw 2 defensively solid sides who nullified each others attack pretty well. **** VAR though.
Seriously? That vicious spin off the post?? Thought it was chess like today and happy with a point. Fulham are the first team this season to put an effective strategy against our press so that gives us something to learn from. Better to get that lesson in a match where you still walk away with a point. No one one has the right to win in ‘these games’. It’s what we used to complain about when no one gave the credit when we shared points with the top 6 sides.
I agree, hence my comment, his plan as to how best utilise his squad that are fit. Positives for me were Diallo and an assured performance by Jack, so confidence in the future games with the adjustments that will come about as a result of today.
There’s every point. We had no real experience on the bench so the usual 60 minute sub would have been very risky. For those last few minutes you have fresh legs to chase the long punts. It’s a sort of hail Mary tactic.
I thought Diallo and Bednarek were both solid. Difficult to split them for my Saints MOTM. But other than that, lets never speak of this game again. Dire.
Pleased we got a point. We have been over performing so far this season which has been fantastic but we are slowly finding our level since the first half of the Wolves game, l think our truer league position is of 8th to 12th. Am very happy with that given our limitations. So, to be clear, l am not complaining. Been a great season so far and long may it continue.
I think some people forget that we aren't Liverpool sometimes. Some of us wouldn't have been happy with an arsenal invincibles season as it was too many draws
No, I think he's saying that Libs is looking negatively and on the 'depressive' side regarding the result.
Over it. Pitch was a bobbly mess, we looked solid. Ralph clearly didn’t want to use the bench. Definite handball. End of conversation
