Nice mares bumper at Plumpton tomorrow and of obvious interest would be Mister Fisher's half-sister Miss Fisher (10/10 for the name). She is out of the same mare (That's Amazing) as Mister Fisher but by relatively new sire Libertarian (2nd to Ruler Of The World for Godolphin in the Derby and then a fair 4th in the Leger). 9/4 this evening with Bet365 and her trainer, Lieutenant Henderson, boasts a 30% win strike rate at the course. Next at 11/4 is FOB's Irish Point winner Victorias Peak, and she certainly has the benefit of experience. My arrow however has landed on Cool Stone, trained by Alan King, who has a tremendous 31% win strike rate at the track. Her dam Stoney Path has had a few winners, including Stoney's Treasure for the same connections. 9/2 with Bet365 this evening.

EDIT: As I am writing this some other firms have opened a book and Honeyball's Precious heads the general market at around 9/4 with Miss Fisher 7/2. I can't say her pedigree screams winner but the yard clearly has to be respected. I'll stick with Cool Stone though <ok>

Coko Beach 9/2 - Naas 2.30 his hurdle form was up there with Longhouse Poet and among the best of this field. I was impressed with his first two chase starts, being beaten 0.5 of a length by Pencilfulloflead and then going down by 16.5 lenghts to some horse called Envoi Allen. He can put the experience of those two runs to good use here to win if he is up among the leaders early on.

    Have a good one folks.

PRECIOUS is a half sister to Lily The Pink who won a point to point on debut before turning to bumpers winning on her second attempt and a full sister to Midnight Callisto who hosed up on her bumper debut. The yard know a good bumper horse when they see one and they smashed into her at 9/2 when the market opened forcing her in to 100/30 and then the current 5/2 which won’t last much longer. She will likely go off less than 2s and I am betting she will win.
The Henderson horse is beautifully bred but this isn’t a track he brings his best bumper horses to so maybe she is a longer term project.

    Plumpton 2.58 Soarlikeaneagle

Best run over fences was over cd on soft nearly a year ago when 3rd. Had excuses last 2 runs back from a break. Mark is sliding. Richard Rowe has a good each way record with runners over fences at Plumpton

    26 runs 5 wins 10 placed PL 8.50

Soarlikeaneagle is worth a small each way bet.

    6:00 Kempton - Takeonefortheteam 14/1
    6:35 Kempton - Rogue Tide 11/1

Same jockey/trainer combo. Ew singles and ew double, will be surprised if neither were to place.

What chance the 4 miler Buddha Scheme in the 14:50, 3 mile at Ayr? Maybe a few of them will struggle with the testing ground which just might play into the hands of young Buddha. 5-1.

3rd at 14/1. I think it has been a good day for the forum selections so far. Maybe someone has a good one at Kempton tonight.
