Credit to them though, they have got on and built themselves a brand spanking new stadium, very close to their former home...with a capacity of 17,250. They even saved a huge amount of money during the development stage of the project, by copying the design style from the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush. I'm not bitter at all. Brentford currently sit 8th in the league, having won on Tuesday night, 0-1 at Barnsley, the goal scored by Toney to bring his tally to 11 for the season. Our win kept us only 3 points behind Brentford, in 13th place...with 3 wins in our last 5. I enjoyed Tuesday night, and watching our attacking play was very enjoyable...although the fact still remains, we conceded 2, and still need to tighten up our defense or we'll end up dropping points in other matches. I'd also like to see Dykes, as our main striker, score from open play, as so far his goals have come from the penalty spot, and we can't rely on getting penalties to score goals. A win for Brentford on Friday night will see them temporarily move up to 3rd in the table, and further strengthen their bid to get back into the playoffs, after their defeat in the playoff final last year. I must confess, I was expecting them to collapse after the departure of Ollie Watkins, and so fair play, they have done very well to maintain their level from last year having lost a player who scored 25 for them in the league last year. As always, I'll add team news if it goes on the official, and others can add what they know.
I think it's important for the team to take it in turns in kicking Ivan Toney up in the air early doors, he's a very good player. How do they keep finding them? He did cost them £5 million mind.
They got him from Peterborough, we got Conor Washington. Their scouts are obviously better than ours...

I just want to see a blood and guts display. Draw would be fine and a win the cream on the cake. Just passion please first and foremost!
Feeling slightly positive because of the first hour on Tuesday and the fact that the bus stop have not been too impressive. If Bos, Chair and Willock (or Albert) get at them, we could well be on for a result. MW will probably drop Willock, play Chair out wide and have Little Tom in the #10 role
I have lost so much to two mates who r bees fans since we have been in the same league, with both games and whoever finishes higher. I have thought about setting up a direct debit for them both. I want us to be up for it from the start, no giving them respect and letting them dictate the game.
