Match Day Thread General matchday thread.

Genuinely can not remember the last time we were top of the league...
*sigh*

I might be able to help you there; I just got off the phone to my old dad, and he asked if I remembered standing outside WHL some years ago, after Michael Svensson conceded a penalty in injury time (which Teddy Sheringham converted). What I remembered was your fans singing “we are top of the league”, and me and my dad saying “It’s ****ing September”. To which some strapping Yid replied, “I don’t care mate, we’re top of the league today”.

Around 2002 I think. Dunno if you’ve managed it since.

Chelsea? Pfft. Midtable fodder.

Every games the same game for us.. Soak it up, hope they miss all 30 shots and nick a goal somewhere along the line, but today Southampton like Brighton ran rings around us.. Like Tobes said earlier just better in every area on and off the pitch... Good luck till the next one mate i want the top 6 clubs missing out this year :emoticon-0148-yes:

Remember that game...thought the Hoddle revolution was taking shape <laugh>

Addressing the saga for the first time, Prince Abdulazaiz said, "It's a shame it didn't go through but we say here that there's always a reason for things happening or not, and we look forward to better opportunities, hopefully in the future.

"Of course there was disappointment that the deal did not go through… I'm not really sure what went wrong or what the discussions were about."
Can you let me know next time you change name pls nice 1 bru.

So, after months of pointless debate, where insults have become the new norm decision day has finally arrived.

We will find out if if good will prevail.
We will find out if a just and righteous decision is made.
We will find out if we are in for years of further pain and injustice.

Millions are waiting to see if they can breathe easily once more.

So C'mon poggers ... save Ole (the man who has brought joy to millions in these dark times)...
