Life over the last 6mths has questioned the strongest of relationships never mind the not so strong. I cant believe anyone can sit and say yes everything is great and has been over the last 6 mths. My family has struggled enormously, suddenly from me working in an office, 8 yr old going to school , Wife working in a School and puppy going to grandparents, everyone was suddenly cramped into 2bed joint, homeschooling, both parents working g from home and a puppy going mental. Really hard to get through and maybe still may not, just got to try really hard if u believe in what u have
Another article (lead article on the BBC Sport section) mentioning our game at Coventry, this time the result of an interview with Nedum Onouha (now playing in the MLS) Why doesn't the BBC do something positive like run some website space on the actions that clubs like ours are taking rather than interviewing a player who retired to the MLS several years ago? The BBC is becoming obsessed with anything that happens in the US, even sport. I just don't get it
I wonder if we will take the knee today. After our statement probably not, but what if Boro do. That would look bad. I really think the EFL needs to make a statement/decleration about this
The media needs to ask clubs and players - what practical steps are they taking? We've put out a robust defence of our position, but what are others doing? Continually taking the easy step of implicitly criticising those that don't take a knee is sh!t, lazy journalism. Taking a knee achieves nothing on its own
I wish our player took the knee. Agree with Ned, many people don't know what our Club does. Symbols mean so much today in today's world obsessed with social media But it's up to individual players to do or not do, or it should be.
