The problem is there aren’t many league 1 games shown. Sky tend to show the games on international weekends when they can’t show PL/Championship.

I think they should let BBC or ITV show one game per weekend free to air. They’re both struggling with their Saturday evening/night scheduling and ratings so a regular live game will plug a gap rather than repeats of The Chase/Pointless.

Trouble is the BBC/ITV won't pay for the right to do it and the EFL won't let them do it for free
