I'm confused as to why Cooper gets so much grief from you lot given his achievements with meagre resources.
I can only assume too many of you still think of yourselves as a Premier League standard club??
It'll be interesting to see how things go for you next season.
I think many feel we did as well as we did despite Cooper. Far too many times he's seemed to have no idea what to do if things aren't going to plan.
As for a PL club - I don't think so, most know we are nowhere near that quality and should we have managed to go up we would have 'done a Cardiff', but a relegation slog in the PL would have brought in more money than a relegation slog in Championship.
No we don't think we're still a PL Club, far from it and considering that you must have been lurking on our Forums then I can't see why you'd ask the question but at least we can say we've been one for a few years longer than your bunch of hoofballers . Have a nice day

As for your comment on being a Premier League club over a longer period than us, then yep, no disputing the fact that you lot racked up 7 years was it, in comparison to our meagre 2. However, you do realise that football (even top flight football) existed before 1992 don't you?
I suspect on that basis we have a few more years and higher finishes in the bank than Swansea.
Stereo, thanks for the more measured response. I did get the vibe that a lot on your board think Cooper is clueless but the evidence of the team's achievements points to a different truth. I suppose I don't see it week in week out though.
Look forward to our battles commencing again next season barring an unlikely comeback from us tonight and an even less likely win against Brentford!
