Extremely poor half. Can’t blame the lack of strikers as we did not create any chances. I was going to say going in a half-time only 0-1 down was the biggest success of the half. But then we conceded a late goal. To be honest, it could have been 0-4. We seem second best in every aspect of the game, against an out of form Wednesday side. If MW can get a point from this match then he will be a genius!
Anyone else think the writing is on the wall for next season? Likely to lose our best 2/3 players from a team that will have won one from five after this game.
Kakay the only positive since the return. I’m struggling to think of any other player who shouldn’t feel embarrassed about their performances.
Hence my recent post about the new contracts for 16 of the U23 squad I can see far fewer loanees next season and a greater reliance on our own youngsters Given that our income will have another step down next season we are going to have to further cut the wage cost at the club It's going to be a bumpy ride
F**k me, we’re still going backwards. What was even said at half time. No intensity or effort to try and get back in to it
We don’t seem better at the start of the 2nd half. Could have easily been 0-3. It is raining and even the dog does not to go for a walk. So I guess that I have to watch it and suffer?
Windass through and good save from Lumley...could easily have been 3. We are still just drifting it across the midfield with no options looking forward.
