Get in!!!! Great result. KWP, Ings, Armstrong, Redmond all were excellent. That's surely us safe now?!
We started the season with Ralph not even knowing what a full back looks like. We're now in a position where we have a pair of full backs performing like that today. Both excellent (in addition to others - including Vestergaard).
What would peoples preference be in terms of the second striker....? ShLong-pulling defenders out of position with a limited goal threat. Che-playing deeper at times and willing to run on his own up front, limited goal threat. just interested in peoples opinions....
Great away win yet again, sort out the home form and watch us go next season. Could we be the team that relegates the Mini-Skates at their own ground on the 18th July? Oh and Danny for the Golden Boot and Prowsey must be getting close cto Matty's free kick record. PS Big Vester never put a foot wrong but I think that Watford never really tested him much.
Ralph and his coaching team deserve huge credit for how fit the players are. We only made subs late on against Norwich, only made 2 before the 90th minute on Thursday and only 2 today. Players also deserve credit for working hard during the break but Ralph is really starting to leave his mark on the team.
Excluding a slow start to the second-half, that was a really complete performance today. Ralph wise to bring Armstrong on when he did, midfield was being overrun and it turned possession back in our favour. I'd choose Che over Long/Oba going forward. Offered us far more in attack during his appearance today. Long twice had good opportunities and just ran straight into the nearest defence. Oba still doesn't appear to know how to use his best attributes. Romeu also quietly had his best game for us in ages. Good win. COYR
I don't pretend to understand these things, but why did Djenepo get a 2 game ban? The number of yellows received in the season to date?
Djenepo got 3 for serious foul play, which is the same as violent conduct. Stephens got sent off for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity, which is only 1 game.
The Kandyman, from the 'Happiness Patrol' Dr Who episode. This was apparently kids entertainment back then. It's a bit like watching Vestergaard for 90 mins against Messi. Apologies, cheap shot as I thought he did the job today (can you imagine if the og was him). All the chaps put a shift in today, well done.
