I suspect that we will never know what actually happened to Madeline but what is beyond doubt is that they are guilty of neglect - they have admitted it - if they had been from a council estate they would have been pilloried in the press as low life scummers, hauled through the courts and had their other kids taken off them. Yes the police in both Portugal and over here needed to put a great deal of effort in to finding Madeline but the fact that they didn't follow standard procedure over the parents actions thus allowing them to successfully paint themselves as victims is an absolute scandal in my opinion.
A **** paper I know but......... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lat...-right-to-reprint-Madeleine-McCann-libel-book
The McCann's are a horrible pair of ****s & useless parents. That said, they've made a ****ing shed load of dosh from being ****houses, a lot of it public donations which they spent on suing the very ones who donated. **** Kate, **** that arsehole Gerry, they're both ****ers & very inadequate parents. **** the Blair's who are even bigger ****s for protecting such scum, **** Brown anarl the jock ****. I hope they all get leprosy. Have a nice evening everyone.
If you said that in a Moroccan accent with a ak-47 in your hand, it would make a great portrait but a polo neck sweater in blue I think, with matching socks.. Breathe in Billy, say cheese or **** off, click gotcha.. See where we heading here? I see a model in you mate, don't know what model yet but there's prospects..
Not knowing what really happened, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they are innocent of any crime apart from possibly neglect..
That's fair enough mate but the thread is more to do with the accountability of the government and police. One instigated an unprecedented investigation and the other made dramatic claims then did nowt before just giving up.
It's like the jigsaw was built and they went through the motions of looking, knowing there's nowt there, do it by the script and shrug your shoulders. I hope one day some ****er talks..
The media making it so high profile, probably due to the social status of the McCanns, was in my opinion a massive influence of the time, money and resources put into this case..It is my opinion that the Portuguese polices initial incompetency that was the biggest disaster regarding this case remaining unsolved.
parents are totally to blame...leaving kids on their own is well wrong...they should have been prosecuted years ago!!!
i've said on a previous thread about this....She looks like a broken woman, he, on the other hand, I wouldn't trust a far as I could kick him..something about him that just doesn't seem right.
My gripe is that the same thing was suggested by David Cameron, Theresa May and Andy Redmond, Scotland Yard's 'top detective'. They spend 4 years, £10 million and countless man hours swanning around in Portugal getting absolutely nowhere. They boasted about the high-tech equipment, top detectives and experts then proceeded to search the waste ground next to the apartment block. After days of forensic searching they proudly held up a man's sock This after declaring 'imminent arrests, breakthroughs, vital new evidence' ......... it was all lies and bluster. The whole thing was a shambles from the start and someone should be accountable. Every parent, with a missing child, should be demanding to know why this one should have been made such a special case.
If they are innocent why haven't they offered to do a lie detector on the Jeremy Kyle show? That's how things get done these days. I smell a rat.
as well The friends they were with also left their kids alone - there's been no criticism of them either
I once heard that in a murder investigation the police always work back from the theory that the last person to admit seeing the victim is the culprit until it is proved they didn't do it. Doesn't seem to apply here. x
Farce continues - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52914...5cUcUutPa5mexPQdO65gVfYWVcfpBdKadC8kBFn0TUMqw Madeleine McCann: German prisoner identified as suspect
If it's the fella in the German jail as per recent news, and he confesses and points to where the body is then I think it's been worth it.
That would be the case with every one of the many children who go missing every year. Sadly most of them don't appear to qualify for money to be spent looking for them.
