To protest?

That's what the US system is really paying attention too

a bunch of spoilt European fanny's out on the streets protesting an issue they couldn't even begin to understand. Ive seen people on facebook talking about this when I know for a bang on fact they don't even know what the House of Commons is.

Shame he couldn’t tease out the finer details with the likes of Saville and Warboys.

That would have been a bit of a stretch for Boris tbf ... his mam had to tippex L and R on his shoes for school ...<laugh>

As for Starmer, he had no involvement in the Worboy's case ... and as DPP was merely doing his job when telling the CPS that their case against Saville was unlikely to secure a conviction... good job he did because we still had the principle of double jeopardy at the time and the truth about Saville may never have come to light ...

The Tory mud slinging at Starmer is getting more and more desperate ... they know that letting Bojob go head to head with him in a debate only ever ends one way ..."never mind dear, you tried your best" ...<cheers>

Just when you begin to think ok let's just see how things go, you have Pritti Patel saying that quarantining earlier wouldn't have helped. Why come out with such contemptibly obvious bollox? It's these endless blatant lies that just undermine the trust in this government. Incompetent fools.

Indeed. It’s an insult to the intelligence, most can forgive failures, particularly in an unprecedented situation, and the honesty would be well received. The self controlled and relatively unchecked quarantine they’re bringing in, is pointless now anyway, not least due to the fact that the majority will be visiting countries far less affected than we currently are ffs.

The most urgent shared endeavour of our lifetimes,” is how Boris Johnson described the search for a coronavirus vaccine just a month ago. At the time, the prime minister urged countries to pull together and share their expertise. Yet if his government’s actions are anything to go by, it seems more interested in siding with big pharmaceutical corporations than turning vaccine research into a genuinely collective endeavour.

The last straw came on Friday, when the government refused to support a World Health Organization initiative to encourage countries to share research on coronavirus treatments and produce any final medicines patent-free.
