Normally at this time of year we'd be casting our votes ahead of the awards evening. So I'd thought we could do our own awards. Mine are below: Player of the season: Danny Ings Young player of the season: Moussa Djenepo Most improved player: Jack Stephens Goal of the season: Moussa Djenepo v Sheffield United Favourite game of the season: Pompey 0-4 Saints Favourite league game (assuming you pick the Pompey game above): Chelsea 0-2 Saints Most vital goal of the season: JWP free kick v Watford Gut-wrenching moment of the season: Arsenal's last minute equaliser. Favourite Danny Ings goal: Spurs (h) Moment that made you laugh: Mourinho getting booked

Season is void in my mind apart from any completed tournaments, therefore Pompey 0 Saints 4 wins all awards.

Armstrong was good last season. Just not many people noticed it. Or rather they chose not to, because he was an unglamorous, underwhelming signing. Stephens was crap though, so his improvement has been much more significant.
I don't know. I kind of disagree. I don't think he was bad last year, but this year I think he's really developed into one of our most important and influential players.
Agree with all this with some different words. We had a disfunctional midfield and Stu didn’t get enough game time. When he did and we changed the system it started to work and that took some pressure off the back 4 and Jack stopped making awful errors late in the game and improved immeasurably Stu was always good and got the chance to show it more this season He always wants to go forward and has surely had some influence on JWP being more like that too Terry Paine award: Stuart Armstrong
There is one category missing, Supporter of the Season: Perhaps this should be someone who supports another club but contributes positively on this board, whether it be praise or construcitve criticism. .
Nah, we would all vote for ourselves for sitting through, and coming back from, the game that shall not be mentioned.
