I'll pop down into chichester town centre on the release day and complain to the store owner about the saints ratings. I'm sure that will somehow lead to EA updating the stats to something more palatable...

I like to give players their proper boots to make game realistic, then EA do a squad update and they're bak to their default boots an ratings.

Is this going to be the same irritating and annoying case in FIFA 12??
 
It will - I don't know if there's any way to make it otherwise, EA squad updates replace all player models with the new updated ones - updated appearances, attributes etc. I'd suggest you contact them and ask if it's possible for them to ever be able to release a squad update that doesn't have an effect on boots but it's unlikely.

Well the first thing I wanna do is start a Career Mode, so I wanna know when they're gna do a squad update :/...
 
The only thing the workers on the level of my mate have been told is "within the first few days" but I've heard elsewhere it's the very first day out, I hope more information becomes available nearer the time though. Annoying having to wait to start a career mode but if they're releasing a game without fully completed squads (?!) then there's not much choice but to wait.
 
Sorry I can't be of more help, but I don't even work there myself so I have no chance :D Can only go on what my mate tells me, and he doesn't know much :p
 
Just thought I would share my Ultimate Team for Fifa 12 and give you all some idea about the ratings. The only special Silver players we have this year is De Ridder and Lamber, personally Im suprised that Lallana isn't but still has a good rating. Tried to get Lambert but was outbid last minute (rated 70)!

For those interested in the illegal way of playing FIFA (I'm not so don't contact me asking how, I don't know :D) there are leak downloads available somewhere.

It's okay for me though - moving into uni so most of my play will be offline vs friends in person rather than over LIVE, so I can make the ratings fair :D
 
Working at ASDA yesterday eve and noticed a sheet of paper detailing the delivery of FIFA 12 in-store. The games will start arriving on the 26th in blue cases marked Entertainment.
