I can't remember the details nor separate the facts from the rumours but didn't they close down the company name or something like that?
They have but it doesn't change anything, in fact it could make it easier for them to take over. They still have FPP US as well
Any fresh updates Smug? It seems to have gone quiet again and no further updates from the journalist (Clive Hetherington?) re FPP.
The only update I've had is that there's no update. I did ask and was told FPP haven't changed their position at all and won't unless someone else comes in. Sadly, for us, they're in no hurry to do anything.
It does and there's nothing we can do about it. We can however get fully behind the team for the final push.
3 offers? I did see someone mentioned that on the other forum in a thread called ‘3 parties in negotiation for the club’.
This all comes from Sammy Yu saying it. Probably worth remembering that he's not currently in contact with Donald, so very much second hand info. Seems fairly likely someone else is interested if (as claimed on RTG) there has been some DD running over the last 6 weeks. If someone was going to act on that, they'd be approaching the end of that process soon. Obviously worth remembering though, that the entire point of due diligence is to work out if and how you want to buy something, it's not a guarantee that they are all in.
This was the club statement. https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2020/january/club-statement-jan-2020 And it looks like it was Bloomberg reporting an expected sale by the end of February. https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...ice-as-40m-with-two-serious-buyers-interested
My guess is that if nothing happens in the next week or so, nothing will then happen until we see which league we play in next season.
*hoped Lots of moving parts, I once hoped to have a deal done by June that got done in October. Even when everyone's pulling in the same direction, there are annoying hoops to jump through mate.
